I'm feeling quite satisfied with life right now. Homework's been easy to stay on top of, teachers are agreeable, I'm joining Japanese Club and my friends and I have started a Writing Club, band's going to be _amazing_ and I'm getting a new pair of glasses next weekend! Not to mention I just had one of my all-time favorite dishes, I'm listening to one of my favorite bands, and I've found my dear Muse again!
I'm hoping to take a college class for litiature and English (alright as our English teacher is, she and I aren't exactly seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to what "English Class" means, or what level she should teach at.) and if all goes well I should be attending the class(es) around winter break! I'm really hoping it's sooner than that, but I'll take whatever I can get.

My dad's been working himself into the ground lately, and I'm really hoping he takes it easy on the over time. He works as a corrections officer in a prison, you see. He'll be home any minute now, and I'm going to dish up his food before the poor man gets here, so I'll be cutting this short. I have two new drabble, and I'm hoping to get some more stuff up here in the near future. It's one of those things where... something sounds and looks pretty good, but when you go to post it, it looses its charm and you find yourself re-writing the whole thing and.. ya. Excuses, excuses! Have some excuses!

At first I was really stressed about the whole English situation (and those friends with the adept teacher were AWESOME at keeping the taunting light .) but I've settled with it, knowing every time she tries to make me look less capable or whatever else I can just think "Well, guess who's going to have some nice, shiney college classes ALREADY on their college application!"

:rolls her eyes: But, vice aside, this year is looking very promising indeed! I hope everyone here is enjoying the back-to-school season, and if not, I hope things look up soon!
In the meantime, I'll let you know if anything interesting actually happens in my life.
